Including Afon Lliw.
From Cardiff, take the A470 to Dolgellau. From Dolgellau, take the A494 towards Bala. After passing through Llanwchllyn, take the first left after crossing the obvious stone bridge, signposted to Trawsfynydd. After passing through a small village, it leads up over some small hills, where it passes through a gate. As it drops back down into the valley, the Afon Lliw waterfall is visible ahead, and just before it reaches the valley floor, there is some limited space to park. SH 8317 3234. Just after passing the next farm (and gate), there is a larger area to park on the left, immediately before the road begins to climb up again (there is also more space a little further on if needed). SH 8268 3255.
Walk along the road away from the farm. When the stone wall swings away to the left, take the path that follows the right side of the wall, which leads up to the Afon Lliw waterfall. If you want some more, walk along the road for another 500 metres, to see some waterfalls in the next river on the right, inside a small gorge.
